1. The Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series

The Percy Jackson series is an amazing series written by the award winning author Rick Riordan. It is based on Greek mythology with the gods like Zeus, Poseidon, Athena and Hermes. The series is about a boy named Percy Jackson who is a child of the big three. He has to find his way to Camp Half-Blood, the only place safe for demigods. Demigods are the children of the Greek gods and a human. They are half god, half human and there are monsters that they have to fend off. Percy goes on many quests with his friends Annabeth Chase and Grover Underwood. I highly recommend this series to people who like fantasy stories with Greek mythology. There are 5 books in this series, The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titans Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth and the Last Olympian.

2. The Heroes of Olympus Series

The Heroes of Olympus series is a sequel to the Percy Jackson series. It is written by Rick Riordan and has 5 books in the series. It still has Percy Jackson and Annabeth in it but now they have 5 new friends. The new characters are Jason, Piper, Leo, Hazel and Frank. Jason is from another camp called Camp Jupiter who lost his memory. Piper and Leo are from a boarding school with their teacher, Coach Hedge. Hazel and Frank are also from Camp Jupiter. The Heroes of Olympus series is about the 7 demigods trying to stop the Earth mother, Gaia. I also recommend this series to people who like fantasy books with Greek and Roman mythology. There are 5 books in the series, The Lost Hero, The Son of Neptune, The Mark of Athena, The House of Hades and the Blood of Olympus.

3. Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a series of books is written by Jeff Kinney and is based on a boy named Greg Heffley. Greg starts off in middle school and always thinks that one day he will be rich and famous. He started his diary so that when he was famous, he wouldn't have to explain his childhood to his fans. This series is full of wit and humour and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good laugh. There are 9 books in the series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Rodrick Rules, The Last Straw, Dog Days, The Ugly Truth, Cabin Fever, The Third Wheel, Hard Luck and the Long Haul. There will be more books in the future, so I can't wait for them!

The Harry Potter series is written by the award winning author J.K. Rowling. The series is about a boy named Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. They go to a school called Hogwarts, school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They go up against a bunch of enemies, including the death eaters and Lord Voldemort. When Harry was a baby, Lord Voldemort murdered Harry's parents, James and Lily Potter. Harry grew up with his Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia and their son, Dudley. They made him live under the stairs and didn't tell him about his parents or that he was a wizard. Overall, the Harry Potter books are amazing. There are 7 books in the series, The Philosophers Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows.

5. Hunger Games Series

The Hunger Games series is written by Suzanne Collins. It is about a girl called Katniss Everdeen and her friends Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne. She lives in District 12 which is in Panem. The capital of Panem is the Capitol. Every year there is the reaping which is choosing who goes into the Hunger Games. She is first chosen in the 74th annual Hunger Games and wins alongside her friend, Peeta Mellark. Next year, she is chosen again, because it is the quarter quell. Only 3 people have won in District 12, so she is chosen again. Overall the Hunger Games books are pretty cool. There are 3 books in the series, The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay.

Holes was written by Louis Sachar. Holes is about a boy named Stanley Yelnats and his friend Hector Zeroni. They are sent to Camp Green Lake as punishment for anything they did bad. For example, Stanley was accused of stealing shoes and same with Hector. They are sent to Camp Green Lake to find Kate Barlow's treasure. Holes is a pretty good book and recommend it to everyone.

Jurassic World Review

Jurassic World is an amazing movie. Chris Pratt was an awesome character in the movie, since he and the raptors had a bond. The Idominus Rex was cool because it was a hybrid of so many things. It is a hybrid of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, Gigonotosaurus, Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops, Velociraptor, Cuttlefish, Treefrog, and a lot more animals. Basically, the scientists have made an over powered dinosaur, and humans and dinosaurs are forced to work together to defeat the Idominus Rex. I liked Ty Simpkins in the movie because he was the dino expert in the movie. I liked how they made the references to Jurassic Park like when the guy was wearing a Jurassic Park shirt and bought it for $100 on eBay. I also liked when they went to the original Jurassic Park when they got lost and fixed the car. Overall, Jurassic World was an excellent fourth instalment of the Jurassic Park movie series.

GoPro Hero 4 Silver Review

The GoPro is the best action camera ever made. The GoPro Hero 4 Silver is awesome compared to the other GoPro's. This is the first GoPro to have a touchscreen ever, and the photo quality is amazing. I really like the time lapse and also how you can buy different parts, like the chesty, floaty, etc. The resolution of the pictures is amazing, ranging from 1080p with 60fps or 720p with 120fps. Plus, 12MP photos at an amazing 30 frames per second. There are some down sides though, you can't hear very well when you talk into the mic with the housing on, but you don't really need to speak when the video is telling the story. Overall, the GoPro hero 4 is an amazing camera, especially because of the new LCD touchscreen at the back. The next GoPro will be even better.

Surface Pro 3 vs Macbook Air

Both of these are awesome computers, they both have their advantages and disadvantages. The Macbook air originally came out on January 28th, 2009. The new 2015 macbook came out on March 9th 2015. The Surface Pro 3 came out on June 20th, 2014. With the Macbook air it comes in two sizes, 13.3 inch (33.78cm) and 11.6 inch (29.46cm). The Surface Pro 3 comes in one size, the width is 11.5 inches (29cm) and for the height it is 7.93 inches (20.1 cm). The operating system of the Surface Pro 3 is Windows 8.1, which has a simple look to it. On the other hand, the Macbook's operating system is OS X. There have been 10 so far, here they are in order from oldest to newest, Cheetah/Puma, Jaguar, Panther, Tiger, Leopard, Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks and Yosemite. The advantages of the Macbook Air is that is has more ports than a Surface Pro 3, it has 2 USB 3.0 ports and a SD card reader, it is also really thin. The disadvantages is that it doesn't have Retina like the Macbook Pro and the new Macbook do. The advantages of the Surface Pro 3 is that it can be turned into a tablet and be used with a stylus pen, the Macbook isn't touchscreen like the Surface is. The Surface has many different keyboards that you can buy, like the colours purple, blue, black and red. The disadvantages of the Surface Pro 3 are that the type keyboards cost an extra $130. Overall, I personally like the Surface Pro 3 better because it can be used as a tablet with a stylus pen, it has a kickstand at the back and it is also really thin and nice looking. The choice is up to you on which one you want to choose.

Divergent Book + Movie Review

This first book is an excellent way to start off the series.The divergent series is about a girl named Tris who lives in a world of five factions, Abnegation, Candor, Erudite, Amity and Dauntless. I think that they did an excellent job casting the roles. I thought that Shailene Woodley was good for the role Tris and Theo James did a good job at being Four. The book is very action packed and same with the movie. I recommend this book anyone who wants an action packed story. Anyone who likes the Hunger Games Trilogy would love this book. I highly recommend this book.

PS4 vs Xbox One

The Xbox one and the PS4 are very different consoles. They came out around the same time, the Xbox One came out on November 22nd 2013 in North America and the PS4 came out on November 15th 2013 in North America. There are ups and downs for both of the consoles. The good things about Xbox is that there are a lot more games made just for it, like Titanfall. With PS4 there are also some games specially made for PS4, like Little Big Planet. They both have the same internal storage, which is 500 GB. The controllers are similar but I personally think that the Xbox One controller is nicer to feel in the hands. One of the downsides to the Xbox is that it weighs a bit more, the Xbox one weighing 3.56kg and the PS4 weighing 2.75kg. It depends what type of style, look or feel you like that will change your decision. Overall, they both have their differences, so I can't be the one who judges which one is better, you have to make that judgement.

Minecraft Review

Minecraft is a sandbox game, which means the world is never ending and you can roam freely. The good thing about Minecraft is that you can build whatever you want, the limit is your imagination. You can play in three different modes. Creative, survival and hardcore. With creative you have an endless supply of everything and can fly around without being killed. In survival you have to gather resources and survive the night by building shelter and defending yourself from the monsters who come out in the night. With hardcore, it is the same as survival, except when you die, you can't get your stuff back. You can play single player worlds and play with LAN, but you have to be close to each other. You can also play on multiplayer, which means you play on a server. You can change your skin to anything you want, you can make your skin if you really want to. Another thing you can do is make servers, so you and your friends can play together from long distances away, a server is very complicated and hard to make, but it isn't hard to join one. You can download texture packs which changes your texture and download mods and maps. You can also get minecraft on the Xbox and PS3 or PS4. The best version is the PC version because it is very easy to control and use. I highly recommend Minecraft to anyone who wants to roam freely and create anything with their imagination.

The Flash Review

The Flash is an action packed DC show starring Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh, Candice Patton and many more. The Flash is about a guy called Barry Allen who saw his mum get killed right in front of his eyes when he was 11 years old. When he grew up, he became a forensic scientist to work for the CCPD (Central City Police Department). Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) created a machine called the particle accelerator and that exploded. When it exploded, Barry got struck by lightning and got the super power to run really fast. He works with S.T.A.R. Labs to stop the world from being destroyed by the "metahumans". If you like an action packed story and superpowers, then I recommend this for you.
